clip_image002 Our thought for the week centres around mediumship. Is there a difference between a medium and a psychic? Jenny Venables led the evening’s discussion.

To find out, visit our Thought for the Week page.

clip_image002Wow! What an evening! So many subjects – so little time! We discussed God, The Big Bang, and right through to Star Wars and unicorns. You shoulda been there!

Visit our Thought for the Week page.

Hey! This week the discussion at our Alternative Evening was about development. Not muscles, but spiritual development.

Go to our Thought for the Week web page and have a read.

To make things more interesting we have added a new page to our website.

It’s a ‘Thought for the week‘. Probably a subject we’ve been thinking about, or that has come to our attention, that we feel is worthy of some philosophical thought. You don’t have to take it as the whole truth and nothing but the truth; think about the content – discover your truth.

The first subject is … Love. Go take a look.

Happy new year, everyone!

We are back to normal again. For full details of what’s happening at our church please visit our web site – – there you will find the list of speakers for the coming couple of months.

If you have wondered about Spiritualism, why not pay us a visit, and ask some questions. Our Alternative Wednesdays are designed just for you to do that.

We look forward to seeing you.

What joy! Some warm, summer sunshine at last.

Now the evenings are lighter there is no excuse to stay in, in front of the telly, get yourself out and visit Havant Spiritualist church.

We have plenty going on – healing on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday evening; Beginners Circle on Thursday evening (after the healing session); services on Wednesday and Sunday evening. On Thursday afternoon we have our Craft Group.

For me the highlight is our twice-monthly Alternative evenings (June 14 and 28, July 12 and 26), when you bring along an open mind, prepared to ask questions and find out more about Spiritualism, and spirituality. (There is a small charge, but it’s worth it – you get a free cuppa!)

Visit the web site for more detail

The Force is with us! May is a very special month for Havant, because we get three Alternative Wednesdays. Make a note in your diaries – 3rd, 17th, and 31st.

All the speakers for May are on the web site, so there is no excuse not to visit us and listen to your favourite.

Our fledglings will be busy. They are taking over the evening service on 25th, and will be giving mini-readings at the coffee morning on 27th. Why not make a special trip to give them your support on their development pathway. A little encouragement goes a long way.

… and don’t forget that special day on the 4th …

Well, may be not the Ides, but the 8th and the 22nd. These are the next Alternative Wednesday Evenings at Havant. Evenings where you get to ask questions, get answers, and find out.

(April’s are there, too – 5th and 19th)

Find out what? Each Alternative Evening is hosted by a speaker who will choose a subject, and inspire you to question. The best way to learn is to ask, and this is what the evening is for. To develop your spirituality. To get the answers you need to progress. So bring a friend, bring an open mind, bring £3 for your entrance fee and a cuppa at half-time.

Our web page has the latest speakers list – go visit and find out more.

One month gone, and into the Chinese New Year, too!

February’s speakers are on the website, ready for your perusal. The next Alternative Evening is Wednesday 15 February – an evening you won’t want to miss.

Healing is available on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday evening. Beginners Circle is Thursday evening after healing.

Our Saturday coffee morning is on 25th from 10am-12noon.

A special evening service to showcase our fledgling speakers is on Wednesday 22nd.

Don’t just sit there! Get up and give us a visit! Full details on our web site.

Better late then never! How was 2016 for you? clip_image002

As usual it brought some changes for the church, some good, some otherwise. But 2016 is in the past, let it go. Let’s look forward to 2017 and all the possibilities of a new year. It is, after all, what you make it. I say it will be a good year – but that is because I want it to be. What about you? What are you going to do to make it good?

I’ve started by putting the speakers for January on our website – – go check out the details!

(Alternative Wednesday is 18th January)

… and have a good one!
